PAWS mission and history

Pet Assistance and Welfare Society of Athens (PAWS) is a privately funded non-profit organization helps Athens area families spay or neuter their pets (both dogs and cats) to reduce euthanasia, improve the health of pets and reduce shelter overcrowding. We help the elderly, poor and physically and mentally challenged and many of our clients are referred by Council on Aging, home health care attendants, and concerned neighbors.
